Jessica Jungbauer is a writer and photographer telling stories in the fields of food, travel and lifestyle.

Having lived in Paris and Washington, DC, she now calls Berlin her home. After stints at ZEITmagazin Online and Spiegel Online, Jessica worked as an editor at award-winning online magazine iGNANT, where she wrote about contemporary art, design, architecture and photography. There, she conducted in-depth interviews during studio visits with Berlin creatives, managed international editorial productions, developed concepts and wrote engaging copy for brand collaborations as well as organized various workshop events.

Prior to that, she was a contributor to Stil in Berlin, one of the city’s go-to culture and lifestyle publications where she wrote about everything spanning from the latest food recommendations to shop openings. Additionally, her features and travel city guides have appeared in several German and international publications.

From sitting down with the chefs of Scandinavia’s first rooftop farm restaurant to enjoying tagine with a Berber family up in the Moroccan Atlas mountains, she likes to explore new places and tell captivating stories by tapping into the universal language of food.

Jessica is available for writing and photography assignments – editorial and commercial – in Berlin and beyond.
